Ditch your phones and socialise on the massive boardgame.
Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, is inviting families to roll the dice, dodge “snakes” and climb the longest ladder for a mirthful experience and exciting instant prizes as it brings back the life-size Snakes and Ladders boardgame at City Centre Fujairah from December 1-30.
After a successful debut in 2016, City Centre Fujairah has brought back its popular larger-than-life Snakes and Ladders boardgame for visitors to have an engaging time with friends and family during the winter break. The initiative is part of City Centre Fujairah’s efforts to bring innovative family entertainment closer to home for residents and offer diverse activities for tourists visiting the city during the holidays.
“Board games have seen a resurgence over the years because people are increasingly looking for new ways to socialise and interact with friends and family away from technology. In line with our vision to create great moments for everyone, everyday, City Centre Fujairah has identified these entertainment trends and amplified it for visitors with our life-size Snakes and Ladders game,” said Abdulla Al Blooshi, Mall Manager for City Centre Fujairah.
“Board games such as these are not only entertaining, but they allow families to bond with their children, reduce stress and build a competitive spirit in young people. Participants will also be surprised at every move with the chance of winning instant prizes in the game.”
A massive snakes and Ladders boardgame with vibrant gridded squares, colourful snakes and ladders will be spread out near the food court. To participate, all visitors need to do is shop for AED 200 and redeem their receipts for player tokens. Players will then be invited to roll the big
dice and make their way up the grid trying to avoid squares with snakes to win instant prizes.
The same spend will also give shoppers a chance to enter a draw to win the weekly grand prize of AED 25,000.
